COMING HOME!!!!

We all got to come home on Friday, what was so great about that was that it was also my Mommy's birthday! I overheard them say I'm the best gift ever. Wonder how Daddy and I are gonna top this next year! Yikes!

Getting all buckled in, my outfit is so comfy! Mommy didn't know 0-3 and Newborn are waaay different!

And we're off........

Before we went home, we made a quick stop at my Great Grandma and Grandpa Costello's to see my Great Grandma who isn't able to get to me... Boy was she excited!!!

Home Sweet Home

Later that night, I met my big brother Blue and attended my first party, my Mom's 31st birthday. We had spaghetti and ice cream cake... if I knew that was happening I would've stayed inside longer!!

Goodbye NICU... Hello Mommy's Room!

Well, since I pulled out my own tube and did well without the cpap machine they figured I didn't need the NICU anymore!!! Wednesday night I got to go down to the 5th floor and sleep in the same room as my Mommy and Daddy!! Can't give me back now! They're stuck with me!

Day Two... One Day Old

Well, I told you I'm a fighter. I needed to intubated Monday night but I pulled out my tube during the night. I didn't need it and I was right! Needless to say, when they put the c-pap on me to help push oxygen I had my hands tied down. Causin' trouble already!

 

Later that night a really nice nurse let my parents hold me...

Since Jacob was 2 weeks early, his lungs were not fully matured and he was having trouble breathing. He was whisked away to the NICU for treatment and observation.

Tuesday, January 3, 2012 

Yes, I was supposed to be here in December, but the ball was dropped, better it than me, and all the appointments were booked. The c-section is planned for Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at 7:30 am... if I can wait that long. It's getting tight in here. I am over 4 lbs and gaining fast. Mommy's appetite has certainly increased. I haven't let them take any pictures of me in a while... I hide in Mommy's side or suck on my hand. I'm so fresh. I'm gonna make them wait till my debut. 

28 weeks

Mommy and my Grandma Dinan went to the doctors today, I'm 28 weeks old and 2 lbs 11oz. Yeahhhhh, I made it to the 3rd trimester! I was busy sucking on my hand so no good photos of my face. Sorry. But I heard the doctor say that's pretty good since most newborns can't find there hands. Watch out now!

 I'll be here before ya know it. But until then I'm just gonna sit back, relax and kick up my feet.

25 WEEKS

I'm growing so fast.... 

I weigh 1 lb 10 oz right now and am the size of a standard letter or an ear of corn!

The doctor told me I have such a cute nose and Mommy said "Look at those lips! I can't wait to smooch them." Oh boy! I'm gonna get LOTS OF LOVE!
